All Blacks demolish the Wallabies in Sydney to retain Bledisloe Cup
Managed to catch the second half of the Australia vs New Zealand tri-nations Rugby game on Saturday.
The game took place at the Telstra Stadium (via Google Maps, Google Earth) in Sydney. When I started watching the scores were pretty much level at 13-13. The All Blacks shifted up a gear in the second half and dominated throughout. Even when Australia tried to attack they could not penetrate the All Blacks defences. The game finally ended 30-13 with New Zealand retaining the Bledisloe Cup. Excellent game summary at Rugby365.
The Tri-Nations table points standings are now as follows:
South Africa - 8
New Zealand - 5
Australia - 1
Looking forward to next Saturday’s game where South Africa take on Australia in Perth. The Wallabies picked up quite a few injuries in their game against New Zealand so hopefully this will work in the Boks favour.

Springboks top Tri-nations table after victory over All Blacks
Had a great afternoon watching the South Africa vs New Zealand Tri-Nations rugby game which took place at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town today (Check out these stadium pics via Google Maps and Google Earth).
Having spent most of my life living in Southern Africa I was obviously routing for South Africa. After watching New Zealand’s recent dominance over the British and Irish Lions I was expecting a good game and it certainly was. At the end of a tightly contested first half SA led 16-13 and managed to extend and hold on to their lead into the second half, finally winning 22-16.
South Africa now tops the Vodacom Tri-Nations log with 8 points. Looking forward to next weeks game in which the Wallabies take on New Zealand.
